What Is the Gameday Performance Index (GPI)?

The Gameday Performance Index (GPI) is a proprietary scoring system developed by Gameday Speed to measure what matters most in athletic performance — acceleration, top-end speed, power, force, and explosiveness.

GPI goes beyond basic stats. It tracks progress with real data, adjusted for body weight and position-specific demands, so you know exactly where you stand and where to improve. It’s how we turn training into measurable results.

Built at Gameday Speed

GPI is powered by the training athletes receive at Gameday Speed, a specialized facility using the same equipment trusted by Olympic sprinters and college programs — overspeed treadmills, curved sprints, resisted runs, and flywheel power systems.

From youth to collegiate athletes, every rep feeds into the GPI, creating a personalized performance profile.

Why It Matters

We don’t guess. We measure.

The GPI shows exactly how fast, powerful, and explosive an athlete is — and how they’re improving over time. It’s speed training with proof.

About Us

At Gameday Speed, we don’t just train speed—we build the entire engine behind it: power, mechanics, and the explosive drive that separates game-changers from the rest.
